The Influence of Anisotropy and Domain Structural Factors on Initial Permeability of Permalloys

Examinations were c a r r i e d o u t on Mo-permalloy (Ni: 80.2 wt%; Mo: 4.7 wt%; Mn: 0 .5 wt%; Fe: R ) t o s tudy t h e e f f e c t s of t h e magnetocrystall ine and magnet o s t r i c t i v e an i so t ropy e n e r g i e s , t h e g r a i n s i z e and impuri ty c o n t e n t s on t h e i n i t i a l pe rmeab i l i t y /IP/ and coercive f o r c e /CF/, r e s p e c t i v e l y . The IP was in f luenced mainly by t h e S and 0, con ten t a t given an i so t ropy e n e r g i e s . More advantageous manufacturing and anneal ing c o n d i t i o n s were a l s o de te r mined.
